World Book Day 2024.
World Book Day is a celebration of reading for pleasure.
The mission is to change lives through a love of books and reading.
We enjoyed a day of reading. We took part in a quiz, shared reading with other classes, enjoyed lots of reading activities and engaged in a book speed date. We created our spoon characters and they were judged by Father Ian, one of our school governors.
Our spoon character competition winners.
Have a look at all the fun we had embracing reading.
