Gainsborough Hall Trip Autumn 2021
Our history topic this term is based on the Tudors.
We are investigating the massive impact that this era had on English history post 1066, by researching the fascinating figures of England's past and becoming immersed in their vibrant history.
Our trip to Gainsborough Hall brought history to life for our children. As one of the best preserved Tudor manor houses in the country, we stepped into the shoes of the people who lived and worked there. The children took part in a hands-on Discovery Visit and prepared a feast fit for Henry VIII and experienced life in a Tudor household.
